Unfortunatelly Commedia have no abilities to hide the link to original file. Even if You're hide the download column, skilled user can see the HTML source of the page and see there liveURL to file for playing.
My own opinion that it's waste of time when someone try to hide the link to multimedia file, cause skilled user can use different programms (plugins, addons) to found the link and copy the file. Even YouTube cann't to protect their files from copying.
So only one way that i offer You to hide the original file is to use the {commedia prev=music1}music{/commedia} tags. You can see the demonstration at
www.ecolora.org/index.php/demo/commedia/...om-different-folders
You can create copy of Your original file from
music directory and cut it or make it's bitrate lower. Then put that file into
music1 folder and hide the download column or link (You can set it opened only for registered users or for You only) using Commedia settings.

There's no differense of how Your files lay in the folders. You can put original file in any subfolder of
music directory and copy of original file in any subfolder of
music1 dirrectory. But filenames must be equal to each other in that two folders.
