TOPIC: COMMEDIA sorts differently than MP3Browser used to

MP3 Browser used the name of the file to sort by,
which allowed for simple directory organization.

Commedia seems to have changed that and uses ID3 tags,
and not the actual filenames of the mp3 files.

IF ID3 is disabled, then filenames are used to sort by, which is helpful
BUT, when reading ID3 is turned off to enable filename sorting,
display of ID3 info is suppressed
so the Track names (song titles) and composer info are not shown,
Only the file name shows in the table.
And that's not really helpful ;-(

I'd REALLY prefer having the option to sort by the Filename.

Commedia solves a big problem with MP3browser (multiple players playing simultaneously)
IF we could solve the sorting issues, that would be great!

So You can use tags:

{ commedia sort=name}Your_music_folder{ /commedia}

if You want to sort files by it's name.

Here's sorting by date example:

Did You see the Commedia button in Article Editor? Press on it, please. You could select sort type and many other options there.

I overlooked the button while updating my articles.
I see 'by default" for many of the parameters in the button editor
Is there any way to tell the plugin to sort descending by filename by default?
I didn't see anything in the plugin params other than "show filename" ...
Which doesn't do what I want...

by default means that Commedia will use Commedia content plugin options (there will nothing in tags for that option).

I think we're getting lost in translation a bit.

What I was asking was, is there a setting in the PLUGIN defaults that sets FILENAME as te default sort character?
I cannot find ANY combination of PLUGIN defaults that will sort by filename, and display the ID3 info.

I have worked around this by editing the plugin to be { commedia sort=name},
and using the default descending sort order from the plugin params,
but there does not seem to a way in the plugin defaults to tell the plugin to use FILENAME.
